I am a qualified doula, nanny, teacher and youth worker, alongside which I am a passionate human rights activist and campaigner.
Doula
I am qualified in trauma-informed doula practice, meaning I can offer prenatal, birth and postnatal support to all families, alongside supporting pregnancies and births that are medically or emotionally challenging.
Teacher
I am teacher of Early Years and Playwork apprenticeships, having trained hundreds of nursery nurses and afterschool leaders during my time as Curriculum Lead for a training provider. I have worked in schools delivering pastoral care programmes to children aged 7-18, inclusive of Anti-Bullying programmes, peer mentoring and LGBTQ+ support. My training encompasses playwork, neuroscience, attachment theory and child development to ensure every aspect of your child’s wellbeing is considered. Passionate about helping children feel heard, I work with children, parents and schools to better understand your child’s behaviour and support needs from birth through to adulthood.
Human rights
I am studying an MA in Education, Gender and International Development, and I work for a global NGO in girls’ rights and gender equality. I have worked with children from newborn-adulthood for over a decade in the UK, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Australia. I am leadership consultant for women’s rights charities, supporting with their strategy, operations and vision; currently working with a charity supporting pregnant refugees, people in the asylum system and victims of modern slavery.
