Having always been a runner with a keen interest in fitness, I discovered Pilates as a brilliant way of strengthening, stretching and focusing on key areas of my body to enhance my performance. I quickly fell in love with the practice and qualified as an instructor in 2017 with YMCA. I decided to specialise in Pre and post Natal Pilates with HFE and am currently qualifying in the highest level (Level 4) with the highly respected ‘Body Control Pilates’.

With a degree in Psychology, I’ve always been a huge advocate of promoting the profound positive impact of exercise on mental health. Having worked in the fast paced luxury events industry for 10 years, the general sense of wellbeing and calm Pilates has given me has been my escapism. That coupled with the low-impact but effective way that it gives strength, length and tone to the body makes it such a well-rounded form of exercise for both the body and mind.
I had a child of my own in 2020 which served to further enhance my passion to help others in their pre and postnatal journey. I became all too aware of the impact it has on the body and the hugely beneficial role Pilates can play in the body’s recovery and overall wellbeing of mothers.
At The Pilates Life I feel so lucky to be able to use my passion everyday and endeavour to ensure Pilates is enjoyable for everyone. I work to ensure that each class is flowing, dynamic and beneficial to everyday living allowing participants to build on their development, whatever their level. With every class I teach clients improve posture, help prevent injury, focus on bodily alignment and get a good old core work out!
