It is often emotional or mental stress that causes breathing restrictions, because our tendency is to hold our breath as a reaction to overwhelming feelings, which we can often feel in modern day life. Over 70% of us don’t breath properly!
Research has shown the way we breathe has a powerful effect on how stressed we feel….it’s like therapy without the talking, you can delve deep into the subconscious and work on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual sides we hold. It has been said that it’s the missing 5th pillar of health, so it is so beneficial to relearn how to breath to support yourself for the rest of your life
I am a breathwork practioner and take people on a journey through breathwork to reset, ground and perform better in all aspects of their lives, and often that means being able to live a happier & more fulfilling life.
Pregnancy and the postnatal time can be one of many highs, but also lows…as well as having little time for yourself. Breathwork has been an incredible tool for me to be able to heal both mentally and physically and has really helped improve sleep (even with a teething baby and a potty training toddler), reduced anxiety, improved fitness and overall relationships.
