Gemma and Sophia are mental health, behaviour and wellbeing specialists, with 16+ years of teaching experience between us, working with hundreds of toddlers, teens and all ages in between, as well as their parents.  They provide troubleshooting guidance calls for parents about their Toddlers, Teens and Between. Gemma trained as a Primary school teacher, with Teach First, and have completed further intensive training in mental health and counselling for children. In addition, she is training to become a Child Counsellor. Gemma has always had a passion to work directly with parents to empower them to help their own children and loves to combine her knowledge of Mental Health together with her Teacher training and Counselling skills to help support parents in an accessible and strategic way.

Sophia also completed her PGCE with Teach First and is a qualified English Literature and Language Teacher. She has worked in multiple pastoral roles and middle management, leading both forms and year groups and has honed her skills supporting teenage behaviour, mental health and wellbeing. She has designed and delivered whole school wellbeing initiatives, Relationship Sex Health Education and Physical Social Health Education content using my mental health training and experience together with her knowledge of issues that teens face today. She will begin her ‘Senior Mental Health Lead’ Qualification in September 2022 and has already supported hundreds of teenagers in bespoke 1:1 support sessions and feels perfectly placed to empower parents to understand their teenager’s perspective.

Sophia and Gemma are also both mums of toddlers and can first hand understand the trials and tribulations parents face!
