This workshop is all about understanding what Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is and how it might affect your child and you as a parent.
  • We begin by learning all about ASD, what is it and how it might present in your child.
  • We then focus on intervention for your child with ASD, looking at the key areas of communication, play and interaction, behaviour, anxiety and also look at parental self care which is often overlooked.
  • The course is aimed at parents, caregivers and teachers and will equip participants to understand the child with ASD and find ways to assist them in the areas they find challenging.
  • It is about 90 mins in length and it is advised to complete the course with at least one break in the middle to ensure you get the most out of it. The workshop price also includes a handout that can be used as a reference guide then in the future.
Parents complete this instant access programme in their own time by watching the prerecorded videos. There is also the option to add yourself to an online chat forum with other participants which some parents find helpful
