Doing your sperm test

My name’s Sara Matthews, I’m a subspecialist fertility doctor based at the Portland hospital in London.

I’m going to have a chat with you today about doing a sperm test and interpreting the results.

Doing your sperm test, the day has arrived. You have the parts, okay.

Abstinence between three and five days is essential. If you leave the guys longer than that, they’re all dead, all right.

If you don’t give it three days and you can’t help yourself, you probably will reduce the count and not get a good test.  So try to have three to five days of abstinence.

Pick somewhere nice and quiet to go into the sperm test. Get your partner to help you, and then use this one time she will probably give you a blow job.

And the most important thing is to try and get the whole sample into the pot. Now being medical people, we give you this ridiculously sized small pot, and of course, how do you get it in there because you try shooting at a target practice when you’re having an orgasm – it’s impossible.

So what you want to do, if you can, is actually trying to get the pot over the end before, the actual moment of arrives.
