Why is saving energy important?

There are numerous reasons why you might want to save energy this winter. At a time when the “cost of living crisis” is on everyone’s lips, a reason to save energy could be to save money, however there are others. It’s good for the environment, it combats climate change and it can also enhance your quality of life.

There might be valid reasons for high energy prices, but it’s no compensation that unless you cut down on the amount of energy you use, you will now pay almost double for the same amount of energy than you did 12 months ago – and it’s forecast to rise again in April 2023.

With the first cold snap of winter in full swing, now is a good time to look at ways to cut your energy consumption.
