Basic information

Thinking about starting weaning? Wondering where to start?

Perhaps you’re wondering what the signs are to show that your little one is ready, or maybe you’re wondering how to reduce milk feeds? You might be feeling apprehensive about the risk of choking, or how to cope with allergies or fussy eating?

Introducing your baby to solid foods can be a very exciting time but you’ll also probably have lots of questions. This online workshop is interactive and tailored to you.

There’s so much conflicting information out there with a lot of it being conflicting. So this workshop will help you to work out when your baby is ready, how to go about it and what to expect.

We will talk about why the evidence tell us to wait until around 6 months, how to know when your little one is ready and some of the risks of starting too soon.

We will demystify the differences between baby led weaning and the more traditional spoon puree feeding.

Allergies, gagging and choking are high up on parent’s lists of anxieties so we will broach all of these subjects.

There will be plenty of time to ask questions, so we make sure every parent comes away from the workshop feeling confident about feeding their baby.
