LifeWellbeing

Insomnia can have a profound impact  on all aspects of  day to day life - at home and at work. Research suggests that 40% of the population suffer sleep issues costing the UK economy an estimated £40.2 billion in loss of productivity at work!

With sleep deprivation impacting negatively on physical, emotional and mental health it is important that insomnia is addressed.  The knock on effects for companies can be huge with increased safety risks - 1 in 6 road traffic accidents can be attributed to driver fatigue.

During this 60 minute workshop, we will explore how insomnia develops, the importance of a diagnosis, some of the consequences associated with insomnia and how using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi) can help. We will also cover how to broach sleep issues in the workplace.
