

Hi my name is Mari-Carmen, the founder of Maricarmenfitness. I have a background in Paediatric Nursing and as a mother of two, my passion and drive is to empower mums to achieve their Fitness, Health and Wellness goals.
As a mum myself I know how challenging being a mum can be, which is why I have developed all my programmes to focus on mind, health, exercise as well as a nutrition plan that is suitable for the whole family. I love what I do and love seeing my clients become more confident, healthier and happier.
Health and fitness has been a huge part of my life and even more so since having my children. It has been integral to my physical, mental wellbeing and health during my antenatal and post natal time. My aim is to show fellow busy mums how easy it is to implement healthy habits and exercise into a busy schedule through my various ‘Fit Mama’ online fitness programmes. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have neither the access or time to get to a gym, I have designed home fitness programmes, which make it easy to lose weight at home.
Being a fitness coach for mums involves much more than exercise programmes. I have implemented a holistic approach to what I do through drawing on my previous nursing skills. I understand the importance of good nutrition for optimum health, post natal recovery and daily performance. Both personal training and online coaching follow my sustainable approach to healthy living, no over restricting and fads! They simply don’t work. I follow this approach to nutrition and weight loss, so understand how to help my mums achieve the results they desire.
